God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.

It’s hard to understand the love God has for us all. He loves us unconditionally, without end and more than our minds can comprehend. He loves us like a father loves his child. Which is why it makes the fact that He gave His only son for each of us…to pay for the debt of our sins …so we can have eternal life through Him and with Him. And so we can return that same love to others.
