When God Says No…

A few weeks back, I was invited to give a talk to the Zeal Youth Group at the Iglesia Bautista Hispano-Americana (Spanish-American Baptist Church) in Elizabeth, NJ. They hold a very special place in my heart because that was my church home for most of my life and it was founded by my very own grandfather, the late Rev. Joel Lobaina!

I was originally planning to bring a study on the book of Philippians, but my plans had to change and I ended up speaking on the topic of what happens “When God Says No”. I was even able to bring the class in the same room where I painted my mural for them a while back that also happens to be where I went to Sunday School as a young toddler…so lots of memories and good vibes all around!

The class went well and I decided to try making it available online to everyone. I’ve been wanting to spend more time working on Bible studies and sharing that with people, so this is my first official shot aimed at sharing it in a broader way.
